Enthusiastic Psychology Teacher Wanted in Westminster! Supportive Secondary School

Location: Westminster Role: Psychology Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Psychology lessons at Key Stage 4 and potentially A-Level.
• Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of psychological concepts, theories, and research methods.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Psychology curriculum.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Psychology.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and discussion of psychological principles within a supportive framework.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Psychology or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Psychology at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong subject knowledge of core psychological concepts, research methods, and ethical considerations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make psychology engaging and accessible within a supportive framework.
• A commitment to fostering critical thinking and an understanding of human behaviour within a brilliant and encouraging setting.
