As our Teacher of Psychology, joining us in September 2025, with a significant leadership role in A-Level Psychology, you will:
- Lead and Inspire: Take a lead role in the delivery and development of the Psychology curriculum at both GCSE and A-Level, inspiring high-achieving students, particularly at Key Stage 5, to reach their full academic potential and fostering a school-wide appreciation for psychological inquiry.
- Shape Curriculum Innovation: Have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our Psychology curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, the use of contemporary research, and exploring psychological concepts relevant to the diverse experiences within the Hackney community, with a focus on the demands of A-Level.

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Psychology teacher with a proven track record of outstanding results at both GCSE and A-Level. Experience in leading curriculum development, developing resources, and working with diverse student populations is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of the A-Level Psychology specification being essential. You will possess a deep understanding of psychological theory and research methods, excellent pedagogical skills, and the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities, with a particular focus on the demands of Key Stage 5.
