SEMH Teaching Assistant

A lovely primary school in Wandsworth are looking for a dedicated learning support assistant to join them as soon as possible to support two pupils with SEMH challenges.

The Role

You will be working with two children in Year 1 who need support to regulate emotions and focus on learning. As the children aren't ready to identify their emotions and advocate for needing a break, you would need to be able to pre-empt and pick up on these signals and offer co-regulation. In addition, you need to respond consistently to the child's behaviours, following their individual behaviour plans.

The school are looking for someone reliable and consistent who is flexible, positive, can think on their feet and be part of the team.
