We are working with a brilliant SEND school in Barking and Dagenham who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher to work in a KS1 Non verbal class.
The class has 7 pupils all non verbal and supported by three SEND Teaching Assistants. Students are between the ages of year 1 and 3 and need close support with learning. Lessons need to be creative and on a visual and sensory level.
The school welcomes teachers from a mainstream background who are looking to start a career in working in SEND.
You do not need previous SEND experience to be considered for this role.
The school is extremely supportive and SLT are on hand to help support and develop you in the role with a clear career progression ladder on offer for those looking to progress further into senior roles.
