We are seeking a motivated and experienced Head of Social Science to lead our thriving Psychology and Sociology department. This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding teacher and ambitious leader ready to shape a forward-thinking curriculum and inspire students at both GCSE and A-Level.
The Role:

Lead and manage the Social Science team, with a particular focus on Psychology and Sociology.

Develop and deliver an engaging, ambitious and inclusive curriculum.

Monitor student progress and ensure high achievement across KS4 and KS5.

Cultivate a love for social sciences and critical thinking through classroom teaching and enrichment.

Support and mentor departmental colleagues, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS and have a strong track record of success in teaching Psychology and/or Sociology at KS4 and KS5.

Be an innovative and strategic thinker, able to lead curriculum planning and assessment.

Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Be passionate about social sciences and committed to inspiring and empowering young people.
