TeacherActive are working with a high-achieving Sixth Form College in South London to recruit an inspiring and dedicated Sociology Teacher. About the Role:
- Teach A-Level Sociology to engaged and motivated sixth form students.
- Plan and deliver high-quality, stimulating lessons that encourage independent learning and critical thinking.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
- Participate in wider college life and uphold the institution’s values and ethos.
About You:
- A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a degree in Sociology or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching post-16 learners.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Must hold a valid, enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
