Are you passionate about supporting young people in their educational journey? A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Southwark is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team, providing vital classroom support and 1:1 assistance to students with additional learning needs.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a variety of subjects

  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with mild to moderate special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and learning delays

  • Assist in small group interventions to help pupils access the curriculum

  • Work closely with teachers and the SEN department to implement tailored support strategies

  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment



The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience working with secondary-aged students, particularly those with SEN

  • Be confident supporting learning across a range of subjects

  • Show initiative, adaptability, and a patient, encouraging approach

  • Be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to helping students achieve their full potential

  • Hold or be willing to undergo a DBS check (enhanced)
