Are you passionate about supporting young people in their educational journey? A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Southwark is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team, providing vital classroom support and 1:1 assistance to students with additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a variety of subjects
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with mild to moderate special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and learning delays
Assist in small group interventions to help pupils access the curriculum
Work closely with teachers and the SEN department to implement tailored support strategies
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience working with secondary-aged students, particularly those with SEN
Be confident supporting learning across a range of subjects
Show initiative, adaptability, and a patient, encouraging approach
Be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to helping students achieve their full potential
Hold or be willing to undergo a DBS check (enhanced)
