This Teaching Assistant - KS2 - Primary School role is perfect for someone who wants to gain valuable classroom experience while helping pupils thrive academically and socially. You'll be working closely with class teachers and supporting small-group interventions across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
As a Teaching Assistant - KS2 - Primary School, you will:
Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Work with pupils in small intervention groups to raise attainment
Provide learning and emotional support to children across KS2
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive environment
Assist with planning, resources and classroom organisation
What we're looking for in a Teaching Assistant - KS2 - Primary School:
Previous experience supporting children in a school or education setting
A degree (desirable) or relevant TA qualification
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
A proactive, patient and encouraging attitude
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
