We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Learning Support Assistant, for a position at a mainstream Primary School in the Greenwich borough.
This role will see you providing 1 on 1 support to a child in the Reception class who has SEND, and is non-verbal.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have:
- Prior experience of supporting children who are non-verbal
- A calm and patient approach
- Experience of supporting children who have SEND
- Excellent communication skills, as you will be liaising with parents, teachers and other key members of staff
- The ability to form a good relationship with the child you are supporting
The school are looking for someone who is truly passionate about working with children, and helping them to achieve their potential. You will be required to use a variety of strategies to ensure that the child in your care is effectively able to access the learning.

Salary for this role will be between 88 and 115 per day.
