SEN Learning Support Assistant - Key Stage 2

Start Date: Immediate start
Location: Harrow, Outer London
Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)
Daily Rate: 95
Contract: Full Academic Year (with potential for a permanent role)

SANZA Teaching Agency is partnering with a three-form entry primary school in Harrow seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support to children in Key Stage 2 with a range of special educational needs. This full-time role starts immediately and continues through the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the Role:

As the SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties

  • Assist in implementing tailored learning strategies both inside and outside the classroom

  • Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to support individual learning plans

  • Foster communication skills, independence, and positive social interactions

  • Help maintain a nurturing and structured learning environment
