SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a delightful special needs school in Barking & Dagenham. They are seeking teaching assistants to work in their school!
About the school..
The school caters to students aged 4- 16 years with Autism (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) severe learning disabilities (SLD), profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).
About you:
- Experience specifically with children who have special educational needs or disabilities is highly valued
- Understanding of different types of special educational needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities, emotional and behavioural needs).
- Skills in differentiation and adapting learning to meet individual needs.
- Ability to use specialist communication methods (Makaton, PECS, BSL, AAC devices, etc.) may be desirable
