Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking a long-term opportunity in Haringey? A welcoming primary school is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support children with SEN needs in a Year 1 class.

This long-term Teaching Assistant role has the potential to become permanent for the right person. You'll begin by supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups within the Year 1 classroom, focusing on engagement, behaviour, and progress. In a few weeks, some of the pupils will be integrated into the school's Learning Hub, where you'll work alongside 7 other Teaching Assistants supporting a class of 12 children.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be part of a strong SEN team where no two days are the same. The Headteacher is looking for someone experienced, adaptable, and committed to making a difference.

Please note that all daily/hourly rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07%
