Teaching Assistant

We are working with a leading independent school in Greenwich who are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional learning needs.

The Role:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30m - 3.30pm)
• Start: ASAP
• Providing 1:1 support to a pupil in class and during wider school activities
• Assisting with personalised learning, behaviour strategies, and emotional support
• Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team to ensure progress and inclusion
• Encouraging independence, resilience, and engagement in learning

What the School is Looking For:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN or on a 1:1 basis (school-based preferred)
• Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
• Proactive team player with a genuine passion for supporting young people
• Confidence in supporting literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum areas

Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• References covering the last 2 years
