A welcoming Primary School in Haringey is looking for a patient and committed Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil with Autism (ASD) and mild communication needs. This is a long-term Teaching Assistant role ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
The Teaching Assistant will play a key role in helping the child access learning, manage emotions, and develop key social skills within a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
Provide 1:1 classroom and emotional support.
Encourage participation using visual aids and structured activities.
Monitor progress and share feedback with the SENCo and parents.
Promote independence and self-regulation.

Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Pay: 85-100 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Long-term
