Daily Rate: 90-110 per day
About the Role
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Greenwich is looking to appoint a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a child in Reception. The role starts on 3rd November and offers an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact during a child's early education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the child's learning, communication, and social development, helping them to access the curriculum and build confidence in a nurturing, play-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one support for a pupil in Reception.
Assist with early learning activities, literacy, and numeracy development.
Encourage positive social interaction and independence.
Support emotional wellbeing and engagement in classroom routines.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in Early Years or KS1.
Understanding of early childhood development and SEN support strategies.
Patient, positive, and proactive approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
