Long Term Futures is recruiting a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary provision in Hammersmith & Fulham. The successful candidate will work across Year 3 and Year 4, supporting two pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) on a 1:1 basis within the classroom.

About the Role

You will work closely with the class teachers and SENCo to help pupils access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a structured and engaging classroom environment. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Providing 1:1 support to pupils across Year 3 and Year 4 during lessons and activities.
  • Encouraging participation, communication, and focus in class routines.
  • Supporting emotional regulation and promoting independence.
  • Working flexibly to adapt to the needs of different pupils and teachers.
  • Building positive, consistent relationships to help each child feel supported and secure.
