Long Term Futures is recruiting a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary provision in Hammersmith & Fulham. The successful candidate will work across Year 3 and Year 4, supporting two pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) on a 1:1 basis within the classroom.

About the Role

You will work closely with the class teachers and SENCo to help pupils access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a structured and engaging classroom environment. Your day-to-day will include:

Providing 1:1 support to pupils across Year 3 and Year 4 during lessons and activities.
Encouraging participation, communication, and focus in class routines.
Supporting emotional regulation and promoting independence.
Working flexibly to adapt to the needs of different pupils and teachers.
Building positive, consistent relationships to help each child feel supported and secure.

Able to follow guidance while using initiative and adaptability in the classroom.
A genuine team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
No prior experience with ASD required - training and support provided.
