Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide individual and small group support within the classroom, adapting activities to meet pupils' individual learning and care needs. You will assist with communication strategies, emotional regulation, and daily routines, while helping to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Support children with special educational needs in a patient and proactive manner
- Assist teachers in delivering adapted learning plans and therapies
- Encourage communication, confidence, and independence in pupils
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent, high-quality support
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
Requirements - The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN, ideally within a school setting
- A caring, adaptable, and resilient attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
- Relevant SEN or education qualifications are advantageous but not essential
