General Teaching Assistant - Ealing Primary School (Year 3)

Full-Time | Term-Time Only | 8:15am - 4:00pm (earlier finish Fridays)
Start: January 2026 - July 2026 (with possibility to extend)
Salary: 95-105 per day (depending on experience)
Location: Ealing, West London

A primary school in Ealing is seeking a superstar Teaching Assistant to join their Year 3 team. This is a classroom-based TA role supporting the whole class, with the additional responsibility of covering 1:1 TAs at lunchtime to ensure children with additional needs, including Autism (ASC) and ADHD, receive consistent support.

This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated, driven TA who enjoys supporting learning for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Year 3 pupils in the classroom across all subjects
  • Assisting with group activities, independent learning, and whole-class tasks
  • Covering 1:1 TAs at lunchtime, ensuring pupils with additional needs are supported
  • Encouraging independence, positive behaviour, and social development
  • Working closely with class teacher

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced in a primary school setting, preferably with KS2 pupils
  • Flexible, patient, and adaptable, with a positive, motivated attitude
  • Confident supporting children with additional needs, including Autism or ADHD
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • This would be a great role for an experienced TA or for a graduate with plans to teach in the future - it will provide an excellent platform to launch your career in education
