An inclusive Primary School in Haringey is seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a non-verbal pupil in Year 4. This is a long-term position for a Teaching Assistant who is patient, creative, and passionate about supporting children with communication and social development challenges.
The Teaching Assistant will use visual aids, sensory activities, and alternative communication methods to help the pupil engage and participate in lessons.
Key responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
Support a non-verbal pupil with Autism in a Year 4 class.
Implement strategies using PECS or simple Makaton.
Assist with sensory breaks and daily routines.
Liaise closely with the SENCo, teacher, and external professionals.

Pay: 85-100 per day
Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm
