SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of a wonderful 2- form entry primary school located in Newham. They are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join their wonderful school community.

The details:

• The role will be to work with various students from year 1 to year 6
• All students have learning needs
• Full-time
• January 2026 to July 2026

The role:

• Adapting tasks and learning materials to the needs of students
• Using multisensory approaches when applicable
• Provide consistent encouragement
• Helping pupils develop social skills, confidence, independence, and resilience
• Recognising triggers for distress and use de-escalation techniques when required
• Promoting peer relationships and positive interaction
• Encourage independence
• Teach organisational skills, problem-solving, and self-advocacy.
