Job description

Do you want to make an impact on children's lives and be part of an amazing team? We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Deputy Room Leader to join our class of toddlers and join in our mission to shape young minds and build a better future!

As a Deputy Room Leader you will:

Promote positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues, in the class of 2-3 year olds;

Innovate with activities, and constantly challenge your children's learning and development

Be willing to move to different age groups as required

Work effectively and cooperatively alongside our tight-knit team and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children at all times.

Support the team in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS and our own Greenwood Philosophy.

Take on Room Leader role in their absence

Work on a shift pattern Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with a 1-hour lunch break per day.

We also offer:

A competitive salary of £30-31,000 per annum,

35 days holiday a year (including bank holidays and nursery closure between Christmas and New Year),

Paid training, including 2 inset days per year, funding, and paid time off for Forest School/Leadership training to members of staff that show strength and dedication in these areas.

5 days full sick pay.
