Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive DAY PORTER (7am-4pm) and AFTERNOON PORTER (3pm-11pm) to join the team at our luxury, period residential mansion block in Westminster, reporting to the Managing Agents and the directors of the Freehold company.

The ideal candidates will be hands-on with good practical problem-solving skills, good communication and organisational skills and basic IT skills. They will have the authority and presence to take charge of issues and situations arising both inside and outside of the building and use their own initiative and practical common sense to resolve them. They will be comfortable dealing with both high-status residents and outside contractors.

These positions require someone trustworthy and reliable who will operate with tact and discretion in respecting and upholding the privacy and security of residents.

The successful candidates will enjoy a very pleasant working environment in our light, spacious and well-situated Estate Office and kitchen complex.

Responsibilities include

  • Assisting residents with deliveries and access
  • Overseeing contractor/builder access, conduct and compliance
  • Overseeing cleaning, maintenance and waste collection
  • Logging and reporting incidents and issues in Estate Office
  • Practical repairs and maintenance as required
  • Regular security patrols, inspections, CCTV monitoring
  • Health & Safety/Fire checks etc as necessary
