The role
As the Head Butcher for this unit, you will be responsible for the whole animals that are delivered, you will ensure that they are stored correctly and the butchery is done on the meats. You will ensure the meats are cut correctly and the butchers fridge display looks amazing. They also sell some meats to restaurants on a wholesale basis. This role will include all the standard butcher duties and will include whole animals.
Experience
We are looking for a butcher with experience of whole animals, you will be able to do the various cuts of whole animals. This will include whole cows, so you will need to be able to lift whole animals and know how to butcher them. You will have great knowledge of meats and knife skills
