The Role

• Manage a diverse caseload related to possession/evictions, tenancy agreements, housing disputes, and housing disrepair.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of housing law.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
• Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings as necessary.
• Stay updated on relevant legislation and case law to provide informed counsel.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
• Make legal aid applications and access merits of a case.

Skills and Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum 1-5 years of experience in housing law.
• Strong understanding of housing law, tenancy regulations, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and client management.
