Established in 2008, Oyster Search & Selection specialise in recruiting HR professionals on behalf of a range of clients in Legal, Professional and Financial Services nationwide and internationally. We recruit in to roles for both HR Generalists and HR Specialists on a permanent and interim basis.

We are currently recruiting for a Benefits Manager on behalf of a new client in the Legal sector. Our client has an excellent reputation as a place to work, the HR team is well regarded and the Reward and Benefits team, award-winning.

Reporting to the Head of Benefits and Reward, you will work closely with the Payroll Manager and Benefits and Reward Advisor, as well as a specialist HRIS team to manage the operational delivery of the employee benefits agenda, including flexible benefits. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operational lead for the Benefits hub renewal project work and ongoing development
  • Supporting employees with their benefits related queries, specifically complex aspects
  • Devising the content that would feature in the fortnightly benefits and wellbeing update emails
  • Supporting the work which goes into wellbeing promotions such as Mental Health Awareness Week and other content throughout the year
  • Reviewing servicing standards and meeting quarterly and/or twice yearly (as appropriate) with the various benefit provider organisations
  • Monthly Benefits hub reporting
  • Supporting HRBPs in their understanding and interaction with the occupational health service and sickness absence management
  • Accountability for a small number of international secondments

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years Employee Benefits experience, with at least 2 years spent at Manager level, with a focus on operational delivery, process improvement and employee engagement. You should also be forward-thinking, proactive and with experience of flexible benefits salary sacrifice structures, platform implementations/renewals and international benefits.
