HR Manager
Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Contract: 15 month Fixed Term Contract, starting early October 2025
Salary: £50-70k + discretionary bonus
We're partnering exclusively with a scaling energy business to recruit an HR Manager to complete a maternity contract. This is a pivotal role in a fast-paced, scale-up environment, offering the chance to lead HR activity through a critical period of continuity and development.
The role is a hands-on generalist role with strategic oversight and operational delivery.
You'll be responsible for:
- Payroll management
- Embedding and optimising the recently implemented HRIS
- Ownership of compensation & performance reviews
- Review and renewal of benefits and insurance providers
- Roll out and analysis of engagement & culture surveys
- Preparing and/or presenting data for SLT and Board meetings
- Compliance such as visa renewals and PSA reporting
- Policy and process review according to employment law updates
- Employee relations and change management
- Line management of two direct reports
We're looking for someone who thrives in a scale-up environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
You'll bring:
- Full scope generalist HR experience including payroll and HRIS management
- A background in fast-paced, emerging industries
- Direct line management experience desirable
- Comfort working with a young, flexible workforce
- Confidence in SLT-level communication and board reporting
