Reed HR are seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of HR in a stand alone role. This role is crucial in supporting the managers and their teams, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals, fostering a positive work environment, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage all recruitment processes from job specification to final interviews, issue job offers, and oversee induction days. Ensure effective onboarding and integration of new staff into the organisation.
  • Employee Relations and Development: Implement strategies for staff development and progression, support staff through regular catch-ups, and facilitate training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Management: Conduct annual appraisals, manage performance improvement plans, and support staff through disciplinary issues.
  • Compliance and Legal Responsibilities: Maintain employee records, ensure company policies are updated in line with legislation, and manage company benefits and pensions.
  • Strategic HR Management: Analyse and improve HR systems and productivity, support with ad hoc HR issues, and oversee staff events and diversity initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, employee relations, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic HR plans that align with business goals.
  • Proficient in HR software and tools, such as PeopleHR.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
