Reed HR are working with a legal firm to recruit an HR Performance Manager for an exciting opportunity to lead and manage refreshed firmwide performance process. This role is ideal for someone looking to influence and shape the performance culture within a dynamic and evolving environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the overall design and delivery of a refreshed firmwide performance management process, ensuring alignment with the organisation's people strategy and values.
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team and senior leaders to understand business requirements and develop a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development (L&D) team, focusing on initiatives like goal setting and performance feedback.
  • Test and refine new approaches to performance ratings and feedback, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with best practices.
  • Partner with the Workday team on the design, testing, and delivery of a Workday performance process.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to ensure understanding and buy-in for the changes being implemented.
  • Integrate Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) and wellbeing into the performance management framework.
  • Manage communications and collateral to support the performance management processes, ensuring clear and effective dissemination of information.
  • Handle deliverables management, including milestone planning and success measurements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing performance strategies in complex organisations.
  • Strong business consulting skills with a focus on execution.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence senior leadership across a diverse, global organisation.
  • Generalist HR experience with a business focus.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with key stakeholders and Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to deliver business-aligned outcomes.
  • Awareness of external market and industry performance trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships based on trust, respect, and delivery.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach; delivery-focused.
