Payroll and HR Reporting Executive - East London - up to £36k + great benefits

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Executive, with exceptional administrative skills and, ideally, HR admin experience, to join the people team of a fabulous client in East London.

The Payroll and HR Reporting Executive will provide day-to-day administrative support across the employee lifecycle including payroll and benefits processing and all cyclical reporting.

With accurate payroll capabilities, strong administration and reporting skills and a keen interest in HR admin, you will be a key member of a busy, office-based team.

Please note: this is an office based role; therefore you will need to be able to commute to E16 on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities as the Payroll and HR Reporting Executive will include:

  • Accurately inputting all payroll information for all employees
  • First point of contact for employee payroll queries, providing advice, guidance and support as required
  • Liaising with the finance team as needed
  • Maintaining employee records on database
  • Administration of benefits for starters and leavers
  • Managing the pension and benefits portals
  • Managing the HR database
  • Producing all HR and payroll-related reports
  • Providing administrative support for ER cases
  • Supporting new employee administration processes and procedures

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in similar payroll / HR administration roles - payroll processing experience essential
  • Solid knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Familiarity with HR practices and UK employment law
  • Highly organised, proactive nature
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally at all levels
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • IT literate including good MS Office and database management experience
  • Dynamic approach with the ability to wok under pressure
