Would you like to join one of the UK’s most exclusive professional practices? We are working exclusively with a respected firm of accountants in Central London that are now looking for a new Payroll Manager to join and lead their team.

As one of the UK’s leading specialist firms, the business supports some extremely high profile and sought after clients which you would work with. The firm has a reputation as one of the best employers in the industry as they look after their staff and offer opportunities for personal and professional development, along with various sociable and charitable events.

The firm are open to someone joining on either a full or part time basis. With the support of junior colleagues, you will manage and lead the firms payroll service to provide assistance to a range payroll clients.

Key responsibilities of this Payroll Manager role include;

  • Management of over 150 client payrolls.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide advice on more technical payroll queries, whilst maintaining effective relationships as their main point of contact.
  • Provision of weekly & monthly reports along with completion of year end payroll information.
  • Processing of auto enrolment and advising on auto enrolment obligations.
  • Opening new payroll schemes
  • Developing and coaching a junior employee.
  • Attending internal and external meetings and acting as ambassador for the firm to build and developing new business opportunities.

You

  • Have over 3 years’ experience of managing multiple employer and employee schemes as part of a full service firm or payroll bureau environment.
  • Excellent payroll software knowledge, such as Sage.
  • Ability to liaise and deal with HMRC.
