TECHNICAL SURVEYOR

  • You will be working as a Technical Surveyor with an RP in London who are looking for someone to help deal with their issues surrounding complaints, damp and mould, voids and minor disrepairs.
  • This will be for a minimum 3-6 months, which will look to be extended if everyone is happy.
  • You will be on an hourly rate of 36 - 40 per hour, which is competitive.

TECHNICAL SURVEYOR ROLE BASICS:

  • Conduct property surveys to assess condition, identify defects, and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare specifications, tender documents, and cost estimates for maintenance and repair works.
  • Supervise contractors and ensure work is completed to required standards.
  • Provide technical support for planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of surveys, works, and inspections.

TECHNICAL SURVEYOR APPLICANT ESSENTIALS

  • Level 4 VRQ Certificate in Managing Damp, Mould, and Customer Care in Housing or suitable alternative professional qualification or commensurate experience.
  • Experience of undertaking assessments in line with the Housing Health & Safety Rating System.
  • Carry out inspections to resolved building defects, assigning contractors and managing the works.
  • Understanding of responsive repairs, voids work, planned and cyclical repairs requirements.
