Business Systems Analyst – IT Business Analyst

You can work from home 3 days a week.

My client based in Southwest London are looking to recruit a Business Systems Analyst for their large internal IT team.

Key responsibilities include managing system availability, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting system users across the business. You will act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes and the realization of business benefits.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management and continuous improvement of IT business systems.
  • Champion the effective use of systems, promoting enhancements and modifications that improve user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Apply business analysis techniques to drive improvements in data collection, management, and reporting, enhancing service delivery across departments.
  • Provide training and ongoing support for users.
  • UAT testing
  • Ensure that system capabilities for statutory reporting are accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Contribute expertise to the review and development of the organisations broader information systems.

Experience sought:

  • Experience in project management, with a track record of successfully coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Proven ability in systems analysis and business process improvement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in gathering requirements, implementing system enhancements, and driving operational improvements.
  • Strong interest in improving and modernizing business systems to meet the needs of a dynamic academic environment.
  • Awareness of current IT industry trends, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working independently, while recognizing when to escalate issues to senior management.
  • Proficient in analytical thinking, with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
