Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading real estate organisation to recruit a Junior Salesforce Developer on a contract basis - onsite required - London based - outside IR35

Role

  • The Junior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for user and license management: new user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules.
  • Execute Salesforce configuration changes including, but not limited to:

  1. Flows

  2. Assignment rules

  3. Approval processes

  4. Custom fields and objects

  5. Page layouts and dynamic layouts

  6. Record types

  7. Apps and quick actions

  8. Custom settings and mobile administration

  9. Reports and dashboards

  • The Junior Salesforce Deeloper will manage and refresh Sandbox environments.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Identify unused or underutilised features and suggest platform optimisation opportunities.
  • Create and maintain a Salesforce platform roadmap; manage enhancement priorities with stakeholders.
  • Communicate platform updates, new features, and process changes effectively to end users and stakeholders.
  • Monitor data quality and implement rules and automation to ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance: Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimiser reviews.
  • Manage and respond to user support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Drive user adoption through proactive support and ongoing user training.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Work with integrated applications such as [e.g., DocuSign, Conga, Mailchimp - customise as needed]

Profile

  • The Junior Salesforce Developer will have a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration or Development experience.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (additional certifications are a plus).
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce configuration changes.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, with a focus on scalability and user experience.
  • Comfortable gathering requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Experience in change management and Salesforce governance processes.
  • Clear and effective communicator with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Proficient in user training and support.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify platform improvement opportunities.
  • Trailhead Badges and/or Super Badges showcasing hands-on skills.
