The Opportunity
We’re supporting a mid-tier law firm with a strong presence near Chancery Lane in the search for an Application Manager. This is a permanent position offering £80,000-£87,000, with flexible hybrid working (2-3 days in the office). You'll lead the application platforms function, managing critical systems and a small team of specialists, with scope to innovate and make tangible improvements across the firm's technology estate.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and mentoring a team of application specialists.
- Managing the application portfolio and ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Overseeing integration between platforms, and collaborating with the Data team to maintain accuracy and accessibility.
- Driving forward DevOps maturity and working closely with external development partners.
- Introducing and enhancing robotics and automation capabilities (e.g. Power Automate, UiPath).
- Acting as the technical liaison between IT functions, vendors, and the wider business.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in managing enterprise applications (ideally within legal or professional services).
- Strong technical understanding of DevOps, automation tools, and document management systems.
- A strategic thinker who’s also comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting hands-on.
- Confident communicator and collaborator who can engage with technical teams and business stakeholders alike.
- Certifications in areas like ITIL, Agile, or DevOps would be a bonus.
