Lead the design and delivery of modern identity service within the government as a Senior Digital Technical Architect.This role would be a six-month contract with a UK government agency delivering high-impact digital services for justice and public protection.As an experienced Technical Architect, you would lead and shape the design of a new identity service.Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and own the technical roadmap, aligning with broader government and departmental strategies
  • Lead on architectural decisions across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and effective solutions
  • Guide technical teams, influence technology choices, and support digital transformation initiatives
  • Engage senior stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in technical architecture within complex, cloud-based environments
  • Proven leadership across multiple technical teams and stakeholder groups
  • Expertise in API development, integration, and public cloud (especially AWS)
  • Clear, confident communicator, able to align technical direction with business strategy
