**Senior Technical Delivery Manager** (Contract)

Duration: Until 31 March 2026 (Possibility for extension)

Location: London/Hybrid (3 days on site)

Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates

Role Profile

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in one of the largest change programmes at a leading bank? We are seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Manager to drive success across multiple workstreams, collaborating closely with Business SMEs, Business Analysts, and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Leadership: Lead transformation programmes, specifically focusing on regulation, merging, and migration processes within a banking environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work effectively with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity on project objectives and deliverables.
  • IT Working Group Management: Establish and manage an IT Working Group by drafting the Terms of Reference, developing a comprehensive working group plan, and monitoring progress against key milestones.
  • Design & Plan Phase Oversight: Manage and ensure the successful delivery of key IT deliverables from various workstreams during the Design & Plan phase of the programme.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing "front-to-back" transformation programmes in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 bank, with a strong focus on merging and migration processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management and regulatory frameworks within the banking sector.
  • Strong background in working with senior-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
  • Preferred PMP Certification or equivalent project management qualifications.
