Systems Engineer - 2nd Line Support

Location: Central London (4 days on-site, 1 day WFH)

We place service before sales and excellence before everything else - and we're now looking for a driven, service-focused 2nd Line Systems Engineer to join our expert Service Desk team. This is a role where your skills will be tested, your potential nurtured, and your career accelerated - with clear pathways to senior technical, leadership, and consultancy roles.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing expert 2nd line technical support to high-profile clients, including traders, investors, and senior executives.
  • Taking ownership of incidents and service requests, ensuring swift, professional resolution.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and driving service improvements.
  • Managing escalations from 1st line and working closely with 3rd line and project teams.
  • Supporting a wide range of technologies including Windows Server/Desktop, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, VOIP, Intune, PowerShell, and bespoke business applications.
  • Occasionally working on-site at client offices to deliver exceptional service face-to-face.

What we're looking for:

  • At least 2 years' experience in IT support, ideally in a busy enterprise environment.
  • Strong technical skills across Microsoft, Azure, networking, and security.
  • Excellent communication skills - confident, empathetic, and able to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Organised, resourceful, and committed to delivering top-tier service.
  • A passion for technology and continuous improvement.
