Platform/Application Support Analyst- Linux / AWS / Python/MySQL/ITIL Platform/Application Support Analyst, with Linux support expereince, is needed to work with our Higher education client within their agile product team supporting key digital platforms.This role combines support responsibilities with hands-on involvement in lightweight development and release management activities across a modern cloud-based infrastructure.
Your will be responsible for providing first-line support through a service management ticketing system, triaging and resolving issues from internal users. Managing incidents, changes, and capacity issues in line with ITIL best practices. Platform/Application Support Analyst- Linux / AWS / Python/MySQL/ITIL Essential Expereince • Solid grounding in Linux systems and AWS services, with some scripting ability in Python and a passion for troubleshooting and continuous improvement. • Working knowledge of Linux/LAMP environments (CLI, system services, user management) • Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.) • Basic to intermediate Python scripting skills • Familiarity with MySQL or similar relational databases • Understanding of ITIL practices for service support Platform/Application Support Analyst- Linux / AWS / Python/MySQL/ITIL- Desirable Expereince • Exposure to agile methodologies or SAFe This role offers a chance to enhance development skills and potentially transition into a more development- or automation-focused position. Pay Rate: Circa £370.00 per day (inside IR35) for a 6-month initial contract Hybrid working: Remote with 1 day on-site per week in London.
