Senior Machine Learning Engineer | £600pd Outside IR35 | Remote | 6-months
A client of mine is on the lookout for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the team on a contract basis. Really excited to be working with a genuinely brilliant company, see details below.
What You'll Do:
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for real-world applications
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate models into scalable systems
- Conduct data analysis and feature engineering to enhance model performance
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and iterate on model accuracy and efficiency
- Stay current with the latest research and apply state-of-the-art techniques as appropriate
What We're Looking For:
- Solid experience in Python and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
- Strong understanding of ML algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles
- Experience deploying models to production (e.g., using Docker, REST APIs, cloud platforms)
- Familiarity with data processing tools (Pandas, Spark, SQL)
- BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, etc.)
- Knowledge of deep learning, NLP, or computer vision
- Contributions to open-source projects or ML publications
