Sonic Summary

Radius is seeking a Datacentre Operations Engineer to work from 11am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
The role requires managing faults through to successful resolution and investigating customer networks according to service level agreements.
Candidates should have experience in maintaining customer equipment manuals, network drawings, and circuit databases, along with installation and configuration work.
A strong knowledge of wide area networking protocols, as well as familiarity with RJ45, G.703, Type 43 BNC, and fibre interfaces, is essential.
The position offers a salary of $60,000 and requires at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Radius is seeking a Datacentre Operations Engineer

Hours - 11am-7pm - Mon-Friday

Ensure fault is managed through to successful resolution.

• Investigate the customer network to board level according to service level agreement if stated.

Maintain customer equipment manuals, network drawings and circuit databases accurately and efficiently.

• Follow customer instructions when performing installation and configuration work on a client’s behalf.

• Install telecoms / Racks cabinets and cable installations in addition to installing and configuring customer equipment.

Sound knowledge of wide area networking and all associated protocols to perform sectionalisation and testing.

• Good understanding of RJ45, G.703, Type 43 BNC and fibre interfaces.

• Ability to conduct fault isolation and problem solving associated with WAN

• Ability to understand and use routers, switches, firewalls and servers.

• Good understanding of Microsoft and Linux O/S and associated products.

• Ability to configure and install server and router makes and models.

CISCO - I.M.C.R. - Installation and Maintenance of Cisco Routers.
