Working with a client who are looking for a Data SME to own everything data on a large transformation programme - the Head of Data will be responsible for everything data from migration and integration to reporting, quality, and architecture.

MUST have previous experience of working on a large-scale ERP transformation and have a technical data background.

Head of Data, key responsibilities:

  • Act as the data technical authority on the programme
  • Provide leadership, coaching, motivation and direction to those working in the data workstream
  • Drive the creation of a co-ordinated plan across architecture, migration, integration, and reporting and insight, including associated test
  • Drive implementation of the plan and associated data activities
  • Where relevant, define the role of 3rd party data service vendors and create appropriate briefs
  • Ensure appropriate levels of data quality evaluation are undertaken, and that the outputs are used in decision-making with regard to retention of data
  • Work with architecture to ensure that we are making data architecture decisions that support defined and future need
