The Opportunity
Our client, a leading MEP contracting company renowned for delivering mission-critical infrastructure, is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead a high-profile data center project in the UAE.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company at the forefront of the region’s data center development, working on large-scale, technically advanced facilities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full cycle of MEP works on a major data center project from pre-construction through commissioning.
- Manage MEP subcontractors and ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery across all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate closely with main contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders.
- Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with project objectives and data center standards.
- Ensure critical systems (HVAC, UPS, fire protection, power distribution, etc.) meet design and performance criteria.
- Oversee procurement planning, cost control, and progress reporting.
- Drive resolution of site issues, design clashes, and program delays proactively.
Candidate Profile
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- 10 + years’ experience in MEP project management, with minimum 1/2 years on data center projects.
- Strong understanding of Uptime Institute Tier III/Tier IV data center standards.
- Capable of managing teams, solving complex site issues, and maintaining client satisfaction under pressure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
