We're seeking a technically proficient Delivery Manager with deep expertise in endpoint security to lead the hands-on implementation and rollout of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) across critical Home Office platforms - including Azure, AWS, and on-premises infrastructure.
This is a delivery-focused, implementation-heavy role, not a high-level coordination position. You will be directly responsible for ensuring secure and efficient deployment of endpoint protection capabilities, particularly across Linux systems, and for enforcing robust security controls in compliance with government standards.
You'll act as the technical delivery lead within a compact, high-performing team tasked with achieving essential cybersecurity outcomes. The ability to navigate complex environments, deliver under pressure, and provide expert-level technical oversight is critical.
Essential Skills & ExperienceApplicants must meet all the following criteria to be considered:
-
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE): Strong, demonstrable experience in hands-on deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting across hybrid infrastructures.
-
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR): Proven expertise in Microsoft Defender configurations, including tuning ASR rules, managing RBAC, and setting baselines.
-
Linux Systems Expertise: Practical experience deploying and managing MDE on Linux endpoints and servers - including scripting, tuning, and systems hardening.
-
Take end-to-end ownership of MDE rollout and integration across cloud (Azure/AWS) and on-prem environments.
-
Lead the technical implementation of onboarding processes, configuration policies, and automation scripts.
-
Define and enforce security controls, leveraging "Secure by Design" principles across varied system architectures.
-
Collaborate closely with CSOC teams, engineers, and security SMEs to align delivery with operational goals.
-
Ensure all systems meet policy and compliance standards, validating configuration, licensing, and access controls.
-
Perform post-implementation reviews and continuous improvements, with detailed technical documentation.
-
Provide technical leadership and delivery guidance to internal and client-side engineering teams, driving quality and consistency across the solution
