A Japanese IT company is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to join their team supporting system investment projects for a major financial institution.In this role, you will be part of the IT planning division, reviewing project deliverables, overseeing investment budgets, and acting as a vital link with the Japan HQ.Applicants holding a YMS or Graduate Visa with more than one year remaining can also apply depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess deliverables for system investment projects (requirements definitions, design documents)
  • Evaluate the validity and appropriateness of project plans and budgets
  • Conduct and manage investment ethics reviews
  • Monitor and report on the progress of investment budgets
  • Provide support for project initiation and review related documents
  • Coordinate and report to the Japan HQ
  • Propose improvements to workflows and processes through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2-3 years of experience in IT-related roles
  • Experience reviewing documentation in system development phases
  • Solid IT literacy with the ability to understand and review technical documents
  • Flexible and proactive in driving process improvements and organisational change
  • Business-level English and Japanese proficiency (reading, writing, and communication)
  • Strong interest in governance, audits, or budget management with high attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and collaborative team player
