I'm currently supporting a a leading financial services provider in their search for an Environment Test Managert who will be required to contribute to the test environment workstream, encompassing both the current landscape and the development of a future-focused test environment strategy in support of our modernisation programme.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of a comprehensive test environment strategy aligned with the objectives of the modernisation programme.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of test environments, ensuring environments are correctly provisioned, consistently maintained, and appropriately decommissioned when no longer required.
- Serve as a key contact between development, QA, and support teams to manage and resolve environment-related challenges.
- Implement and manage automated provisioning of environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, integrating test environments with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience:
- Demonstrable experience (5+ years) in managing test environments, including a minimum of 2 years working specifically with OpenShift on Linux.
- In-depth experience with microservices architecture and associated containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible.
- Proficient in Linux-based operating systems and shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools, including Jenkins and GitLab.
