Business Information Manager - Security & NPPV Cleared - 6 Months - Inside IR35 - £700-800 per day - 3 Days a week onsite in Central LondonOur client is a law enforcement agency and you will be joining as a part of the Senior Leadership team supporting the Director of Information. You will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for business intelligence, information compliance, records management, and performance reporting across the force.Your key responsibilities would be:
  • Lead and develop high-performing specialist teams
  • Oversee delivery of records management, FOI, DPA/GDPR compliance, and disclosure
  • Manage force-wide performance reporting and analytics
  • Promote and embed data-informed decision-making across departments
  • Govern the ethical use of advanced analytics, AI, and emerging data technologies
  • Represent the Directorate at senior internal and external governance forums
  • Align information systems with national and corporate programmes (e.g., NEP, Digital Policing, national data sets)
  • Oversee risk management and business continuity planning within the Information Management portfolio
  • Lead a culture of continuous improvement, adopting modern and flexible approaches
  • Collaborate with IT and Digital teams on modernisation of business information platforms and reporting tools
Essential Experience:
  • Senior leadership experience in a change-oriented role
  • Proven ability to lead specialist teams, set objectives, and drive delivery
  • Strong track record in the public sector (policing experience preferred)
  • Strategic understanding of information governance, digital transformation, and performance
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and cloud-based systems
  • Experience with national policing systems such as PNC, PND, or ViSOR
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels
  • SC and NPPV3 clearance
