- Lead and develop high-performing specialist teams
- Oversee delivery of records management, FOI, DPA/GDPR compliance, and disclosure
- Manage force-wide performance reporting and analytics
- Promote and embed data-informed decision-making across departments
- Govern the ethical use of advanced analytics, AI, and emerging data technologies
- Represent the Directorate at senior internal and external governance forums
- Align information systems with national and corporate programmes (e.g., NEP, Digital Policing, national data sets)
- Oversee risk management and business continuity planning within the Information Management portfolio
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement, adopting modern and flexible approaches
- Collaborate with IT and Digital teams on modernisation of business information platforms and reporting tools
- Senior leadership experience in a change-oriented role
- Proven ability to lead specialist teams, set objectives, and drive delivery
- Strong track record in the public sector (policing experience preferred)
- Strategic understanding of information governance, digital transformation, and performance
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and cloud-based systems
- Experience with national policing systems such as PNC, PND, or ViSOR
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels
- SC and NPPV3 clearance
