Description
A specialist is required for the installation, support, and maintenance of network infrastructure and security frameworks.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Network and Security Administration:
- Assist the Network and Security Manager with the administration of IT equipment across the organization.
- Monitoring & Detection:
- Monitor security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems, to identify potential security incidents.
- Analyze security alerts and logs to detect unusual activities or threats.
Incident Response:
- Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents, such as malware infections, unauthorized access attempts, and data breaches.
- Vulnerability Management:
- Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential system and network weaknesses.
- Work with senior team members to apply patches and updates to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Network Access Control:
- Configure switches and endpoints as part of NAC upgrade projects.
Network Support:
- Configure user switches and patching for networking devices.
- Conduct health checks of network and security systems, with occasional support required after office hours.
- Provide on-call support during evenings, weekends, or holidays for urgent network and security issues.
- Ensure that information security standards are maintained across all IT assets.
Operational Support:
- Coordinate day-to-day network checks and operational procedures according to defined standards, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure that the IT function meets required security and service levels, aligning with corporate objectives.
- Communicate IT systems and controls to other departments as appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with global teams where relevant, particularly regarding management of systems hosted at external sites or data centers.
- Maintain relevant IT support processes and procedures.
- Produce regular IT support management reports.
- Handle pressure and work effectively in demanding situations.
- Provide out-of-hours support for incidents or emergencies as needed.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by management.
Profile
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

Prior IT support experience, including network, security, and IP phones, is required.

Hands-on experience with OSPF, BGP routing, and spanning tree protocol troubleshooting.

Experience in IPT configuration and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in NAC configuration and troubleshooting.

Experience with network monitoring tools.

Knowledge of IP-based network infrastructure, including NDR and SIEM systems.

Degree-level education preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
Job Offer
