cer Financial are working with a growing bank, based in Central London. They are looking for an experienced IT Support Officer to join their team of a permanent basis. For this role you will ensure that employees have access to their systems and PC and applications. You will have experience in providing technical support for the setup of telephones, voice recordings, meeting rooms, laptops, mobile device configuration, printers and scanners.

The responsibilities of an IT Support Officer will include:

· Ensure all support cases and incidents are raised through the Service Desk.

· Provide day to day support for users located in offices based in Central London and any remote users.

· Responsible for handling full desktop set up and applications for all users, new joiners, movers and leavers in accordance with documented policy and procedures which must be maintained and up to date.

· Conduct VDI workstation/PC/laptops maintenance, installations and support.

· Co-ordinate all end user requests and requirements around audio/video meetings, home working challenges and general printer consumables and support.

· Maintenance of desktop equipment - monitors, zero/thin client devices and phones.

· Maintain IT storage areas (office area and storage room) ensuring they are tidy, accessible and all items are logged.

· Responsible to ensure recycling and management of all types of IT equipment across the 2 London sites.

· Assistance and support with all IT audits (Internal & External), security assessments and any technical processes as directed.

· Manage and document Group IT (Beirut) network access requests for support purposes.

· Perform monthly review of Active Directory and provide the reports to the Head of IT.

The successful IT Support Officer will have:

  • Higher education/degree in Computer Sciences, Microsoft Certified or equivalent IT qualifications.
  • Approx. 2 years’ experience.
  • Experience in MS Office, including Windows (2020, 2011) and Windows (2012, 2016 and Azure Cloud).
  • Be familiar with various user end business applications support, maintenance and installations.
  • Understanding of virtual environments, VMware Horizon and Virtual Desktops.
  • Understanding of MS exchange server and active directory.
  • Experience with trouble shooting and service desk.

They do need someone in the office 5 days a week.
