This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with a range of technologies, supporting both day-to-day operations and a variety of events and projects. You’ll be helping maintain reliable and effective IT services while playing a key part in AV support for events, presentations, and exhibitions.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Support

Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support via helpdesk, in person, and self-help channels.

Support Windows and Apple desktops, MS Office Suite, and internal business systems.

Administer user accounts (joiners, movers, leavers) in Active Directory and Office 365.

Manage devices using tools such as JAMF, Endpoint, Teams, Aerohive, and FortiGate.

Deliver IT inductions for new starters and set up equipment.

Liaise with external vendors for hardware and software support.

Maintain technical documentation and help guides.

Support major incident response as required.
AV Support

Assist with the set-up, rigging, and de-rigging of AV equipment for events and exhibitions.

Test and audit conferencing systems and exhibition/gallery devices (e.g., iPads).

Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver seamless AV support.

Provide on-the-day AV support during live events.
Sustainability & Procurement

Organise sustainable decommissioning and recycling of IT/AV equipment.

Manage purchase orders for hardware and software licence renewals.
Essential:

A strong interest in IT and AV with a structured approach to problem-solving.

Proven customer service experience in a technical support role.

Excellent communication skills and a calm, methodical approach.

Confident working independently and escalating when appropriate.

Awareness of data protection and information security best practices.
Desirable:

1+ years in a similar IT/AV support role.

Familiarity with Visio, JAMF, and Endpoint management tools.

Previous experience in a cultural, educational, or creative sector.
