We are pleased to be supporting an organisation in the education sector who are currently recruiting for a Head of Payroll, Pensions & Systems to join them on a 12 month FTC basis. Reporting into the Director of Finance this role will be responsible for managing a small team.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the payroll & pensions operations for permanent and casual staff
- Provide expertise on payroll & pension issues
- Administration of four pension schemes
- Advise senior management on pension scheme developments
- Maintain, update & create salary scales on the HR & Payroll system
- Day to day management and supervision of the payroll team
Experience required:
- Expeirence of managing a payroll function within a medium or large sized organisation
- Excellent people management & leadership skills
- iTrent experience is essential
- Extensive pension experience, ideally with the following schemes: SAUL, USS, NHSSS
- Experience in Higher Education or NHS is desirable
